After AOL launched the new MapQuest website a lot of people who had been using this service for a long time felt confused, they said that the new site was hard to use and also hard to understand, in other words they said that the new site wasn’t as user friendly as it used to be. One of the reasons why people were saying this was because they couldn’t or didn’t know how to access aerial view.
If you have been using this online mapping service for years, then you probably remember that at the old site there was a tab at the upper right corner of the maps interface that said “Aerial Map”, to switch to aerial view users only had to click on that tab and that was it. You can still use the site’s old interface at classic.mapquest.com, but I really don’t think that it is necessary because as I’ve said many times before the new site offers the same features plus more.
To view aerial map images on Mapquest all you have to do is visit their official website which is located at MapQuest.com, once you are there search for the location that you want to explore, once your map is ready click on the “Satellite” option located on the upper right corner of the map, then simply zoom in as much as you can until you’re able to see aerial images just the way you like them. Have fun!

Is Mapquest Apple friendly? Apple Downloadable?
seems not given the required OS?
Hey Zarco!! Thanks for dropping by, yes, it is, just visit the Apple App Store and search for MapQuest, you can download it for free on any iOS powered device, not sure about the iPad though.
