Street view on Google Maps is finally available in Russia, it took a while, but the time has finally come. Google announced that starting today Google Maps users will be able to virtually explore locations and places using 360 degree street level images in Russia's most important cities. Google Maps street view is currently available in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

If you decide to take a virtual tour to Moscow right now, you will be able to explore the most popular points of interest in the city, and also the most visited historical landmarks. Take a walk around the Kremlin, visit the Red Square, take a look at the Kuskovo park, or the Tsaritsino park, which are two of Russia's most beautiful parks by the way. Discover interesting locations like Kolomenskoye, the place where the palace used to be, once considered the eight wonder of the world.

If you prefer visiting St. Petersburg, well there's lots to do over there as well. St. Petersburg is the second largest city in Russia, and its also packed with beautiful places, historical landmarks, and interesting locations that any person would love to see. Many famous palaces and parks that were built in this city, even though St. Petersburg's history started with the Peter and Paul Fortress, if it was me who was visiting, I would probably start my journey at Peterhof, then I would move on to Alexandria and Oranienbaum, which are definitely must see locations.
