Google Maps also allows you to check live traffic information in your routes, all you have to do is click on the “Traffic” tab that’s located in the upper right corner of your screen, right on top of the map, G Maps will immediately identify the traffic conditions in your routes, if G Maps shows that your routes have too much traffic, you can drag and drop points to get alternate routes with less traffic, after you are done you can save, print, link, or send by email Google driving directions, you can send them to yourself, or you can send them to any other person that might be interested in using them.
You can also search for locations, businesses, real estate opportunities, and user created maps to find points of interest that you might want to visit. If you want to take a good look at the places that you are going to drive by, you can use the “Street View” feature, combining driving directions with street view is a very smart move, because you will enjoy full panoramic 360 degree images of the street, you will be able to move in any direction by clicking on the arrows displayed along the street, and you can look around by clicking on the arrows located in the upper left corner of the street view screen, you can also use the arrows on your keyboard to move and look in any direction.
